Randy Ogden and Tim Sullivan presented a Judicial Roundtable for the students at Academy Prep on October 21 at the school's Ybor City campus.  Judges from the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals, the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida, the Second District Court of Appeal, and the Hillsborough County Circuit Court participated in the two hour program. Randy and Tim conducted a preparatory session with the students on October 10 during which they discussed how the courts interrelate with the other two branches of government, the relationship of the state and federal court systems, and the organization of each court system.

The Roundtable program included a question and answer session with the entire group of judges during which Tim and Randy asked questions which the students had submitted prior to the event.  Following that session, groups of three to four students met with individual judges for 20 minutes each to learn more about the judge and the role each plays in the justice system.
