Jere Tolton, together with Marty Rosen, Esq. of Barger and Wolen in Los Angeles, recently spoke at the 15th annual Dynamics of Disability Seminar held March 4-6, 2008, in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida.  The seminar is conducted each year by John Hewitt and Associates (JHA) and its parent company, General Re Life Corporation, to educate participants and improve performance in the disability insurance industry.  Jere presented a workshop on recent attacks by state regulators on the use of discretionary authority provisions in group insurance products.  JHA's Pat Bailer praised the workshop as being "relevant and invaluable to our audience" and presented with a "contagious excitement" that "set the bar high" for future workshops.   For copies of Jere's PowerPoint or should you have any questions about this topic, please contact him at jtolton@ogdensullivan.com.
